Our Cock

Roy has gained some weight! His arrival to our family occurred just after the fires, which was in October of last year. His ability to crow has been a painful and slow experience for both him and I. Because of the absence of any influential parent rooster to teach him the ways of crowing, he has lad to learn on his own. 4:30am is when his internal alarm clock goes off...he won't stop until around 9am. We still feed him the usual corn tortillas and a bowl full of cold water. His new past time is standing in front of my car's shiny hubcaps to either stare at himself or ignorantly believe he is hanging out with another one of his rooster friends. You can see in this picture than I caught him red handed (or headed). My car is just to the left of this picture. Funny!

Alternative use for Egg Whites

so i was reading in this foo foo girl magazine about at home hair care products. Turns our egg whites painted on your hair does wonders for shine. Looks like someone hawked a big loogie on my head

Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

Soup:
Enough water to cover the chicken inside the pot
2 Thawed Chicken Legs (Bone in)
6 Chicken Bullion Cubes
Chopped Carrots
Chopped Celery
Chopped Onions
One Chopped Yellow Squash
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2 Bulbs of Garlic -crushed and/or chopped
Combine in Large Pot and bring to simmer

Noodles:

1 whole egg

6 egg yolks

1.5 cups flour

Stir until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly

Place uncooked pasta in fridge for one hour

Once the pasta has sat for an hour, cook in a separate pot until tender. Drain pasta and combine with the soup. The soup is done when the chicken is fully cooked. Remove the 2 chicken legs from soup. Remove all meat from bone and discard all bones. Return chicken meat to soup and serve with a dash of parmesan cheese.

Sweet Suite

With the "majority vote" the bus back to Pala Casino left us stranded at Petco Park. When do you ever have the chance to jump on a couch in a suite at Petco Park? When you go to a game with a bunch of sour people who don't like watching the end of a game, regardless if it is 9 or 19 innings.

Padre Game

Padres Vs. Reds. Sunday May 25th, 1:05pm. Justin's

Mom Chris was able to receive a complimentary sky box at Petco Park for her gambling habits at Pala Casino. The journey started at 11:00am sharp at Pala Casino out at the Indian Reservation, Pala Mesa. Our bus driver, dressed in his cool blues started off our day with mind numbing small talk which I tried to drown out with the sounds of asians and white trash people in the background arguing over when to leave that crap-hole we call an Indian Casino. The Bus went an average of 17 mph, whether on the windy roads of East County, or on the middle lane of the 15 freeway. We would have loved to take the Coaster down to the Park, but the Casino insisted on their own form of transportation.

Revolution Dance

Revolution Dance

Our friend James, who works at a bar in Solana Beach, is nice enough to give us discounted drinks when he works on the weekend. Cheap drinks equals a great time with money left over in your pocket. Lucky for us, we are able to catch a ride back to Carlsbad. After James dropped us off, he decided to come in for a drink or two. James and Kona seen in the kitchen after James' Rrreevolution Dance. James is sporting a 1982 Body Glove Tank Top I picked up from the DAV. I am trying to find a suitable outfit for our "save the date" mailer but I have had no luck. We thought we would dress up as white trash folk, but nothing has really come together. Being that it is already May, we need to figure something out quick. I think we are going to Party City today to see if there are any costumes we can buy. Justin was thinking about dressing up as a Witch...which leaves me with limited options.
