Roy has gained some weight! His arrival to our family occurred just after the fires, which was in October of last year. His ability to crow has been a painful and slow experience for both him and I. Because of the absence of any influential parent rooster to teach him the ways of crowing, he has lad to learn on his own. 4:30am is when his internal alarm clock goes off...he won't stop until around 9am. We still feed him the usual corn tortillas and a bowl full of cold water. His new past time is standing in front of my car's shiny hubcaps to either stare at himself or ignorantly believe he is hanging out with another one of his rooster friends. You can see in this picture than I caught him red handed (or headed). My car is just to the left of this picture. Funny!

OH MAN I have to tell you about our cock. lets call him bob. the thing about him is that he is confused, maybe head trauma due to the whole staring at himself in someone's hubcap but his internal clock is set to about 3:30 and then he goes about every half hour or so. its hilarious. i can't believe you have your very own though! ours is just the neighborhood's.
